Neapoljs - derived from the Greek "Nea Polis" (new city) and the altered "js" for JavaScript - is an all-in-one web mapping application framework, content management system and application development environment. And all of it is completely database driven and browser based!

How is it spelled? Just like you'd spell a normal Neapolis.

Neapoljs Architecture

The Architecture of Neapoljs can be summarized as follows:

• All Neapoljs configuration is stored in a database, whereby most databases are supported: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or SQLite (others on request)

• Neapoljs is written in PHP, JavaScript und HTML respectively .NET based for the MapInfo MapXtreme version.

• The CMS User Interface is 100% Browser-based which allows a reote management of the applications.

• Neapoljs is currently available for Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise / Open Source , ESRI ArcIMS, MapInfo MapXtreme and UMN MapServer.

• Neapoljs has no need  for any Plug-Ins.
